Our patients are an extended part of my family and I care deeply about each of them. I’ve come to know them on a personal level and enjoy hearing what’s new in their lives at each visit. I’ve been with the practice for over 13 years. I have been in the dental field sinceI was still in school, and for years was an expanded function, dental assistant.
As the Seminole Shores Dental Care patient care coordinator, I do many things. I am the liaison who facilitates and maintains communication between Dr. Albisu, our team, and our patients. My core duty is to help make the office run as smoothly and efficiently as possible, so patients have stress-free visits.
Originally from a small village in England, I’ve lived in Florida for many years. I have two sons and three delightful grandchildren and spend as much time with them as possible. I also enjoy boating, snorkeling, and playing Scrabble, along with church activities.
It’s a privilege and pleasure to serve our patients, to make sure each leaves smiling, healthier, and happier than when they arrived. A genuine “thanks for making this easy” comment at the end of a visit makes my day! I have worked in the dental field my entire carerr with more than 30 years of experience.
My days are spent in the operatories, where I oversee the flow, organization, and inventory. My most important part is that of patient care. I seat patients, prepare them to see Dr. Albisu and explain what will happen. During the procedure, I assist the doctor while supporting our patients and making sure they’re comfortable and attended. Getting to know every patient and establishing life-long rapport is what has kept me driven!
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy most anything outdoors, from camping, hiking, kayaking, and birdwatching to traveling. I also like attending and volunteering with my church.
I’ve always loved the dental field, and have a true passion for helping others understand the importance of dental care. It’s a great feeling to see a person become excited about improving their oral health and their smile! I’ve worked in the field for more than 20 years and love everything about it.
I’m here to help patients with all financial matters. I work hard to make sure patients get the most from their dental insurance and I handle the paperwork on their behalf. I also answer billing questions and review treatment plans so patients understand all their options and are able to make informed decisions about care. In addition, I provide Spanish translation service for our Spanish-speaking patients.
I love working near the Gulf, since I’m obsessed with the ocean, and love being near my family in the Tampa area. By the way, Dr. Albisu is my son!
